Not sure about the idealized part - it was pretty damn rad. Maybe it will be again. Not sure about that either. The only thing I'm clear about is that right now it's definitely not. Rad.

Wow! Open pit mining, artillery, meteorites, these are just a few of the things this photo brings to mind.
My dog would be all over that like a mud wrestler. From the prints, it looks like yours is satisfied with a view from the shore.
You need some shovels and some elbow grease.
