Hard-Core Dedication

I'd like to greet the upcoming warmer riding season with at least a tad of fitness, so I've been counting calories. Trouble is, today, somehow, I blew my daily allotment before I'd had anything that I could call dinner. There might have been beer and (yes, red velvet) cupcakes involved in this downfall. Probably not, but maybe.

Anyway, the almighty app says I'm caloried out. The words ring as hollow as my stomach, since I'm hungrier than a bear just off hibernation. I'll meet the tyrannical little bastard halfway, but I AM eating.

Half a link sliced up on a multi-grain english muffin, with a dash of ketchup and mustard. 230 calories. Best thing I've ever eaten in my whole life. EVER.

I think it's obvious from my level of commitment, but I'll say it anyway.  All you should expect to see on the climbs this year is my skinny ass from behind.

There's no way anyone can eat just half of a Johnsonville sausage - the tought is outrageous, egregious, preposterous. Here in Wisconsin the mere thought of doing so is a hanging offense.

I know, I know. Don't you have a game to get ready for, or something?

packer n.

One whose occupation is the processing and packing of wholesale goods, usually meat products: meat packers.

(The Free Dictionary)

In Wisconsin, packing away sausage IS getting ready for the game.
